You don’t have to change your swing to play better golf!
WARNING: This content might seem simple, direct and to the point, and it is written specifically with that purpose in mind. I didn’t spend the last 15 years becoming a top golf instructor just to make friends. I am here to help you stop the myth that buying a new golf club will help your golf game. I am here to tell you, after helping over 1000 golfers, there are some truths that have been uncovered. I am here to help put the fun back into your game of golf and get you to where you want your game to be. So… wasting your time by hitting a bunch of golf balls with poor understanding, thinking, that will make you a better golfer. If you want to get better here is your start.
Before we continue…
Let me be completely transparent because I don’t want to you to be confused or misled about the golf swing or me.
What ’s the biggest problem for both adult and junior golfers starting the game or trying to break 90…or 80…or 70?
Here it is…
A lack of understanding the principles of the game and how the player’s current game is moving towards or against these principles.
In my experience, the most common misunderstandings of players:
- Adults and juniors believe that the ball does get in the air by hitting under the ball.
- The ball slices only because the swing is inside out.
- A topped shot occurs because you lifted your head!
- Lack of distance is only due to slow club head speed
Oh and the biggest complaint….
Inconsistency!
Why are players inconsistent?
The player keeps doing the same thing over and over again without understanding what is happening!
The player has the desire to improve. So how do most golfers try and solve the problem?
Go to the range and hit a bunch of balls in search of the magic solution.
Listen to the advice of the playing partners – whether that is the weekly foursome or the colleagues in the company charity tournament – do they really know how to guide a player.
Or the parent of a young junior gives swings tips after each and every swing rather than letting the junior try, learn and ask questions when they want answers. The parent has the right intention – they just are searching for the best program and experience for the junior.
And what does the player experience practicing and playing?
- Frustration
- Embarrassment
- Feeling Lost
- Disappointed losing to a friend they know they should beat
Feeling that they are wasting time and might need to take up another activity.
Remember the biggest problem is not understanding why something happens, therefore not having feedback from a trained professional.
Most players, whether new to the game or seasoned veterans, do not have a guide along the path of developing and refining the skills of the game.
What is the experience for most adult and junior golfers?
Golf is not fun!
Imagine the quality of the shots, the feelings and the experience of juniors and adults if they had a guide along this journey?
I am here to point adult and junior golfers in the right direction.
Golf can be confusing – for the young and the old.
What direction is needed?
Every Good Golfer Understands How to Strike the Ball Correctly
In my opinion, this can be the biggest factor to turn a duffer into a consistent player.
